The Ultimate Vegan Queso Recipe

Whether you are vegan, lactose intolerant, or just trying to incorporate more plant-based foods into your diet, this queso has you covered. And if you are a dairy-lover and big fan of the real deal, I promise you will not be disappointed here. This recipe is SO delicious and so easy to make. I can't wait to hear what you think of it!


1 cup raw cashews, soaked for at least 2 hours

1/3 cup filtered water

1/2 cup salsa (I recommend medium or hot)

2-3 tbsp nutritional yeast

1 tsp himalayan salt

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp turmeric

1/2 tsp garlic powder


  1. Blend all ingredients together in a high speed blender or food processor for about 1 minute or until completely smooth.

  2. Use to top nachos, tacos, burritos, or dip your favorite snacks in and enjoy!
