Ayurvedic Summer Digestive Elixir
If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen recently that my friend Nidhi (a 3rd generation Ayurvedic practitioner - so legit and knowledgable!!) taught me her super simple summer beverage recipe. This recipe is meant to help stoke your digestive fire, which can often get weaker in the warm summer months, to seep things running as smoothly as possible.
You can make this drink in the morning to break your fast, before meals, or sip on it throughout the day. I have been loving it and definitely noticing a difference in how my digestion feels already!
All you need are 3 simple ingredients and you're good to go!
1/4 tsp clove powder
1/4 tsp ground cardamom
1 tsp honey, or other sweetener of choice
8 oz of room temp water
That's it! Just mix it all together until your sweetener dissolves, and enjoy!
