The Best Anti-Bloat Smoothie Ever.
We've all had those days. You know the ones, where you're feeling less than stellar and kinda like you want to live in your most comfy sweatpants? Maybe you overindulged yesterday, or have been having too much sodium and not enough water, or it's that time of the month, you you've been under a lot of stress lately. Regardless of the reason, the reality is you're bloated and it doesn't feel good. I get it.
Enter: this smoothie. It is pretty much the rockstar of smoothies for getting you back to feeling your best and out of your sweats. When you feel bloated sometimes it can be hard to get anything down, so this smoothie is a gentle (yet effective!) way to support your digestive system and get you back on track.
It is filled with prebiotics, probiotics, waist-slimming and tummy-loving ingredients. Just trust me on this one, your body will thank me.
1 cup coconut water
1/2 frozen banana
1/3 large cucumber
1 inch fresh ginger, peeled and diced
2 tsp apple cider vinegar
Juice from 1/2 lemon
1 tbsp organic aloe juice concentrate
5 drops liquid stevia (optional)
Blend all ingredients, pour into a glass and sip slowly. (Drinking liquids too quickly can increase bloating. Also, drinking through a straw can increase bloating so sip this delight sans straw).
You can adjust the ingredients to make more or less, and sip throughout the day if you'd like. Also, you don't have to be experiencing tummy troubles to enjoy this smoothie! It's one of my favorites when I am looking to sip on something refreshing and nourishing.
