Matcha Green Tea Oatmeal


Don't knock it 'til you try it. This conconction may look a little bit strange, but I promise you it is oh so delicious. And packed with nutritious superfoods as well!

Benefits of Matcha:

*High in antioxidants and EGCg (cancer fighting properties!)

*L-theanine promotes calm while caffeine increases alertness...aka no jitters or energy crash!

*Boosts metabolism

*Detoxifies the body

Ingredients:

*1 serving oatmeal, cooked as directed (my favorite is Coach's Oats - super creamy and delicious, even when made with water!)

*1 tsp Matcha green tea powder

*1/2 tsp cinnamon

*1 tsp organic stevia or raw honey

*Splash of coconut milk

*1 tbsp raw coconut butter (not oil!)

*Optional: raw pecan pieces

Directions:

1. Stir the coconut milk, Matcha powder, cinnamon, and stevia/raw honey together into your cooked oatmeal until creamy and well-mixed.

2. Top with coconut butter and pecans.

3. Enjoy!!
